About

Welcome to Love Liskeard!

This site was originally set up to keep everyone informed of developments as Liskeard responded to the Mary Portas review into the state of Britain’s high streets. The Department for Communities and Local Government offered 12 towns a slice of £1m if they could come up with new, exciting plans to try out. Liskeard is not short of ideas and won the competition!

Here is our winning application form.

And for the governance structure agreed at the Town Forum on 11th July, please see here:

Well done to you all ! Just wanted to let you know that your hard work and commitment is much appreciated and admired. Wouldn’t it be great if the whole town wore badges with the Love Liskeard logo – to be worn with pride !
