Three Bags Full

We’re gearing up for our April events which will be all about wool.

On Friday 12 April there will be a 3 Bags Full evening market in the Public hall from 4-8pm. Building on the success of the last two markets this will be for people who wear, work and play with wool. The evening will also include music, delicious food, soft drinks and a ‘baa’ bar!

If you would be interested in taking a stall, please e-mail us at with ‘3 Bags Full market’ in the title.

We’ll also be commissioning a series of woolly workshops to run in the town centre during the last week of the Easter holiday and the week after – giving plenty of opportunities for both children and adults. Would you like to run one?

We’re looking for a varied programme of workshops, some for beginners, others for those more experienced. Amongst the workshops we’d love to feature a whole range of techniques – knitting, crochet, felting, weaving, spinning, embroidery – anything which can be done with wool.

To apply to run one or more workshops, please e-mail a completed copy of the Woolly workshops form for each proposed workshop to with ‘Woolly workshops’ in the title by Friday 8 March.

We aim to have the programme agreed by Friday 15 March and will contact all applicants by then.

Watch this space for updates on other 3 Bags Full events and activities.
