Bling, Rings & Things delivers a touch of glamour to Liskeard

Friday evening saw a touch of glamour brought to Liskeard as nearly 300 people packed in to the Public Hall for a special evening market focused entirely on the art of treating oneself. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, visitors were treated to myriad of potential pampering products, soothing live sax music and of course the specially created cocktail which seemed to go down very well.

Part of the project plan was to track exactly how many people came and what they thought of the event, a sample of which follows:

“Such a fun, local event. Lovely atmosphere and people. Should happen more.”

“Wonderful warm atmosphere.”

“Promotion of local trade. Well done.”

“Great evening. The times were just right. Look forward to the next event.”

The event was another positive tick in the box for Liskeard. There is much to do with this project, but it proved that the people of Liskeard care about the town and are prepared to support it which we as a group find hugely encouraging.

One visitor commented “In a good way it was slightly odd to see the top end of Westbourne car park so busy on a Friday evening.”

I visited the event with my daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you ! We would love another cocktail evening with music and dance. Maybe a Cocktail and Canape evening ? I’m sure there are many food and drink outlets in Lskeard who would be interested in participating !
