A little thank you for a big effort…

I’m so sorry if I miss anyone, but wanted to say a few thank yous for everyone’s efforts today.

All our food suppliers; The Brownie Bakers, Knightor Wine, Yummy Cakes, Gingham Chicken Fudge, Cornish Gouda, Choclette Cakes and Cornish Orchards. They are a great example of the world class food and drink on our doorstep.

Too Pretty By Far for the loan of gorgeous vintage china and pretty table clothes.

Liskeard Methodist Church for lending us tables and chairs.

Everything was provided for free because people believed in the idea. Thank you.

Block – our first town shop retailer! Everyone on the town team wishes you success.

Liskeard Silver Band – and the youth band – for laying down some beats!

The Vass family for all their help, including putting up the town shop sign and donating the ‘wall frame’.

Signs of Good Taste for our beautiful town shop sign.

Urban & Rural Planning Associates for helping to get the town shop up and running.

Precison Design and Print for our thank you poster.

Westside Stories and AL Photography.

The Knitting Fairy and her merry band of knitters – a new twist on kinky knickers!

All our amazing volunteers who painted, cleaned, scrubbed, hammered, laughed, made tea, put up photos, took down photos, measured, hoovered and cleared rubbish (especially the HSBC Angels!). We couldn’t have done it without you.

Everyone who popped in to wish the town shop, the town team and Block good luck!

And last, but never least, Mary for inspiring us and sharing her expertise, time and passion.
