Check out the trailer for next Tuesday’s programme.
Thanks to everyone who participated in any aspect of our 3 Bags Full woolly events in April. So many people were involved in different ways. Liskeard has such a rich wool history and a lot going on now too. We’d definitely like to do more wool events next year. So watch out for that, and also for the giant community scarf which will be danced through town as part of the parade at the Liskeard carnival this year. Let’s hope for better weather for this outing!
Meanwhile, we have some winners to announce. We held a prize draw at the wool market and the three winners were Tracey Kitto, B Mann and Max. The prizes were £10 vouchers to spend in Liskeard town centre shops. So far, one has been spent in Bittersweet and one in Painters.
We also held a ‘Spot the Sheep’ competition and were delighted that 42 local shops participated. The Jones family won the cuddly sheep toy and Lisa Juckett won the two sheep mugs.
All the details finalised for what promises to be an inspirational event!

For every £1 you spend with a local, independent business, between 50p-70p
circulates back into your local economy. Shopping locally supports local traders, their
suppliers and the people they depend on to run their businesses. Buying locally
boosts your local economy, rebuilding confidence in the community, enabling local
businesses to prosper and grow.
Shopping online or out-of-town may save you a little time but for every £1 you spend,
only 5p trickles back into your local economy. When you shop with your local
independents you are doing ‘your bit’ to keep your high street, town or village centre
‘open for business’.
